Students can study abroad for 1 to 3 weeks during Spring Break, Maymester, or Summer on faculty-led programs or for a semester or academic year on an exchange program.
Georgia State may offer the Campus Atlanta Scholarship (100% out-of-state tuition waiver and 50% out-of-state tuition waiver) on a merit basis to qualified incoming international students. International students with F or J visas are not eligible for federal financial aid (FAFSA).

Unfortunately, international students are not eligible for federal financial aid. However, Georgia State does offer possible scholarships and graduate assistantships to help with your financial needs. If you are an undergraduate student, you can contact the Scholarship Office for more information.
Any financial aid you currently receive can be used for study abroad, including Pell Grant, Federal Direct Loans (Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans and PLUS loans), Perkins Loan, HOPE Scholarship, and other scholarships.
