DSP-5 License: For the permanent export of defense articles listed on the U.S. Munitions List (USML). DSP-73 License: For the temporary export of defense articles, such as for demonstrations or testing, with the intention of returning them to the U.S.

How long is a DSP-5 valid for?
A DSP-5 approved for foreign person employment will be valid only for a period of four years or until expiration of their authorized stay from Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, whichever is shorter.
You can get to the wires from the back of the switch. Starting in position one you should see a voltage, most commonly 5V DC or so, and then as you go from position one to position five, the voltage should drop. If that happens then the switch is probably installed correctly and working properly.
