How do I become an evaluator for Canine Good Citizen?

To become an AKC CGC Approved Evaluator, you need to meet a few basic qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Have at least 2 years of experience working with owners and their dogs. Have experience working with a variety of breeds and sizes of dogs. Must not be currently suspended from AKC privileges.

How do I get my Canine Good Citizen title?

The dog must be registered or listed with AKC (an AKC number, PAL, or AKC Canine Partners) CGC certificate only. The processing fee is $15. CGC will not be added to the dogs title record.
