Contrary to popular belief, you can do fingerprints FD-258 at home. It doesnt need to be filled by a law enforcement agency.

Do all post offices do fingerprinting?

USPS fingerprinting is offered by select post office locations across the United States. Most PrintScan locations offer the same FBI and fingerprinting services as the USPS locations. Use our Location Finder to find a convenient PrintScan location near you to be fingerprinted.

Can I get my fingerprint online?

California Fingerprinting You will have the option to either walk into any of our locations in California with a Request for Live Scan form or to enroll online for faster processing. We also have an option for out-of-state applicants to submit an FD-258 fingerprint card to Cal DOJ.

How much does fingerprinting cost in Louisiana?

Applicants may pay by debit/credit card, check, or money order. The processing fee for the state and federal digital fingerprint submission will be $60.75. Once you have completed the appointment, your fingerprints will be electronically and securely submitted to Louisiana State Police for processing.

How do I get fingerprinted in Louisiana?

Printed fingerprint cards can be obtained separately from a local sheriffs office, police department, or IdentoGO location. IdentoGO provides full fingerprinting services as part of a separate process at State Police Headquarters for an additional fee.
