To be eligible for an ROTC scholarship you must meet the following criteria: Be 17 years of age within the first semester of your freshman year and must not docHub your 31st birthday by December 31 of the year in which you will graduate from college and receive your commission.
It is not too late to enter Army ROTC or even win a 2YR scholarship! You can simply attend the Cadet Initial Entry Training (CIET) and enter the advanced course as a Junior. In special cases, the basic course can be compressed into 1 year. Your sophomore year is considered your second year in the basic course.
A CONTRACTED Army ROTC Cadet must: Be a U.S. citizen. Be between the ages of 17 and 26. Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50 or College cumulative GPA of a 2.0 (minimum)
To qualify for ROTC scholarships, you need a minimum 2.5 high school GPA for ROTC. You must also maintain a 2.5 college GPA. Additional entry requirements include being at least 17 years old, scoring at least 19 on the ACT or 920 on the SAT, and passing your military branchs physical fitness test.
General Requirements A United States citizen (if on scholarship or contract). A student can join as a non-US citizen, but must be a naturalized US citizen by the time he or she signs a contract to ROTC. In good physical condition and meet respective program physical fitness tests.
