The Personal Privacy Protection Law seeks to ensure that you have the right to inspect or copy records pertaining to you. As a general matter, records pertaining to you are available to you.
Under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Privacy Act (PA), you can request: Your own immigration records; Someone elses immigration records, if you have their written permission; and. Agency policies, data, communications, and other records.
