The IICRC continuing education credits (CEC) program encourages industry participation through events and training, requiring certified inspectors to earn two CECs every two years and cleaning/restoration technicians to earn two every four years. Advanced designations require two CECs biennially. Failure to meet these requirements results in status suspension. CECs can be obtained through preapproved events, and applications for event approval must be submitted 30 days in advance.

How do I renew my IICRC certification?

CEUs are awarded for class time. These may be taken online, in webinar or e-seminar format, or as in-person classes. There will usually be a lecture component for a CEU worthy program. The individual submitting the course for credit must be the student/participant.
