Oftentimes, in the U.S., colleges will count credits as the number of hours spent in class. For example, a 3-credit class may mean 3 hours of class or lecture time, and a 5-credit course may equal one hour of class each day of the week for 5 total hours.
You can request and pay for your Proof of Enrolment Letter on RAMSS. It will take one to three business days to process your request. Letters cost $20. They can be used to confirm enrolment with RESP and financial institutions, employers, and other third parties.
A proof of enrolment letter is an official letter signed by the University Registrar listing the academic terms in which a student was registered.
Full-time studies: a standard course load is 2.5 credits per semester, although students who enrol in 1.5 credits or more are considered full-time. If you wish to graduate in four years, you must pass 2.5 credits in two of the three semesters (Fall, Winter, Summer). Part-time studies: 0.5 - 1.0 credit per semester.
