What is Masters Swimming? These sessions give swimmers the opportunity to participate in coached workouts as part of a like-minded group of swimmers. A coached workout is not about exercising aimlessly, but instead involves swimming different sets using various strokes to improve your technique and stamina.

The minimum requirements to join a masters club vary widely, anywhere from the ability to swim one length of the pool to the ability to swim a kilometre without stopping.
