PADI courses are not considered harder than NAUI courses or vice versa. Both scuba certification providers adhere to minimum safety standards set forth by the WRSTC. NAUI does offer training on how to resuscitate an unconscious diver in its basic scuba certification, while PADI may not.
To request a replacement card, completely fill out the Replacement Card form and (if possible) email or fax us a clear photocopy of your training logbook pages and/or temporary certification card/ validation form, or a clear photocopy of your existing card. Include these with the replacement request form.
While NAUI has long been respected for having the highest training standards in the recreational diving industry, we are also highly regarded for our Technical Diver Training.
If you prefer to learn at your own pace and need more one-on-one attention, you might find a better fit with NAUI. On the other hand, if you have lofty diving goals, PADI has a larger course catalog with more offerings.
If I have a dive certification through another agency (e.g. PADI, SSI, etc.) can it crossover to NAUI? Yes, your certifications will be able to crossover.
