The Massachusetts High Demand Scholarship Program is available to students at Massachusetts public institutions who are pursuing a STEM degree. Residents of Massachusetts who have not previously earned a bachelors degree are eligible to apply.
Full-ride academic scholarship: Be at the top of your class with a great GPA, take AP/honors classes, and get perfect (or close to perfect) SAT or ACT scores. Along with academic merit, it also helps to also have leadership skills or community involvement (see below).
The Cash Grant Program is a complementary program to the Need-Based Tuition Waiver Program. It helps needy students by awarding grant money to cover additional charges such as mandatory fees and non-state-supported tuition.
The Les Best Scholarship Program helps OCSEA members and their families pay for college education. A total of $12,000 is awarded annually for each academic year. The application process is open January 1-April 30 each year. The application process for the 2025-2026 Les Best Scholarship has begun!
