Your Student ID number is a 7 digit number. It can be found on your offer letter from the University, and will also be included in the email you received regarding Online Registration. It is not the letters and numbers that form your email address.
If you do not know your seven-digit ID number, you can find it on Student Center or by calling Bursar Account Services at 607-255-2336.
NetIDs are issued to members of the Cornell community: students, faculty, staff, alumni, and affiliates. Each NetID is a string of alphanumeric characters based on the individuals name followed by a number. NetIDs are a free service provided by CIT to the Cornell community.
Student ID Cards For new or replacement ID cards, please visit the Office of the University Registrar in 245 Day Hall. All students (including those in non-degree programs) must carry a Student ID card. The ID card becomes inactive upon termination or interruption of enrollment at Cornell.
