What is the Senior Pass? The $80.00 Senior Lifetime and $20 Senior Annual Senior Passes provide admittance to more than 2,000 recreation sites managed by six Federal agencies, with up to 100% of the proceeds being used to improve and enhance visitor recreation services.
Previously known as the Limited Use Golden Bear, this $20 Senior Golden Bear pass entitles the pass holder and spouse or registered domestic partner free vehicle day-use access at over 200 California State Parks-operated units.

The new system is supported by a Customer Contact Center (800) 444-PARK (7275). The center is available 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST (except New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). The best times to call are midday and midweek, when the phone lines are less busy.
Golden Age Passports and Golden Access Passports are no longer sold. However, these passes are still honored ing to the provisions of the pass.
