Can I take 5 classes at DePaul?

The normal course load is four (4) courses (16 hours) per quarter and the normal limit is five (5) courses (20 hours) per quarter. A student may take a total of five courses (20 hours) across the summer sessions.

*Select applicants qualify for an application fee waiver for attending. Application fees cannot be waived for students applying to the College of Law, or students applying through CSDCAS, NursingCAS, OTCAS or SOPHAS. International students are also exempt from the application fee waiver.
