Begin by gathering your family’s information. List all family members, including parents, siblings, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Next to each name, note their health history and any relevant medical conditions.
Use pedigree symbols to draw your family tree. Start with yourself at the center and add siblings on either side. Connect them with a horizontal line for sibling relationships.
Add your parents above you using a horizontal line to connect them. If applicable, indicate any divorces or additional relationships with diagonal lines.
Continue adding grandparents and other relatives using the same method of connection. Ensure that all medical information is accurately recorded next to each individual.
