Who plays power soccer? Power soccer is played by all genders, all ages over the age of 5 for those in a power wheelchair and who do not have the ability to play another adaptive sport. For most power wheelchair users, it is the only competitive teams sports available.

In order to play blind football at the Paralympics, athletes must be classified as B1. B stands for blind and B1 includes those with very low visual acuity and/or no light perception. Regardless, all outfield players must wear eyeshades. The goalkeeper, meanwhile, can be full-sighted or classified as B2 or B3.
