In the passenger details section, list each passenger's SURNAME, FIRST NAME, INITIAL, DATE OF BIRTH (Y/M/D), SEX, and CITIZENSHIP. Ensure all information is accurate for compliance.
Complete the AIRPORT DESTINATION and DEPARTURE POINT fields. Specify your LENGTH OF STAY/ABSENCE and TRIP REASON to clarify your travel intentions.
Fill in the MAKE/MODEL/YEAR OF AIRCRAFT and CANPASS PERMIT# if applicable. Review all entries for accuracy before submission.

The Canada Border Services Agencys CANPASS Private aircraft program allows CANPASS card holders on private aircraft to clear customs and immigration quickly and securely at participating ports of entry.
Is CANPASS required?
As of July 2025, you are no longer required to use the ArriveCAN app when entering Canada. The ArriveCAN app was made optional for all travellers (including Canadians) starting in October 2022.
Do you still need the ArriveCAN app to enter Canada?
A valid U.S. passport or passport card is preferred, although a birth certificate, naturalization certificate, citizenship certificate, or another document proving U.S. nationality, together with a government-issued photo ID (such as a drivers license) are acceptable to establish identity and nationality.
Is CANPASS still required to enter Canada?
Going to Canada: CANPASS is still required. There is no need to contact U.S. customs on departure - eAPIS filing is sufficient. The pilot will need to contact CANPASS by phone (888) 226-7277 or (204) 983-3500, prior to takeoff in the U.S. and, again, by phone after landing prior to exiting the aircraft.
