What does MRO pending mean?

Rather, a \u201cpending\u201d status simply means that the candidate is still being processed, which could be for a number of reasons. For example, the MRO review process may be delayed because a candidate did not immediately begin the drug screening process.

What happens if you have positive drug test?

If the test results in a positive reading, meaning there is drug residue in the body, the results are forwarded to a medical review officer, who reviews the results and looks for any possible valid medical explanation for the results.

How long does it take to hear from MRO?

If the initial drug test is positive, the MRO will contact the donor to see if they are on any medications or have any other legitimate medical explanation for the positive result (usually within 24 hours). If the donor does not answer, the MRO may leave up to three voicemails. The donor is given 72 hours to respond.
