The Higher School Certificate (HSC) is the highest educational award you can achieve at secondary school in New South Wales. Students must complete at least 12 units of preliminary courses and 10 units of HSC courses, including English, to receive the HSC.
For a birth or adoption that occurred in NSW, you can apply online, by post, or in person at a service centre. Certificates are sent to you by the Registry, using registered post. You cannot get a certificate from a service centre.
