Is docHub Reader 2017 free?

2015 was a paid for release of Acrobat (first called 12!) It had updates but no new features. Later there was 2017 to catch up with some of the new features added for subscribers. Although Reader is free, it has essentially the same release structure as the paid software.

As stated in the docHub Support Lifecycle Policy, docHub provides five years of product support, starting from the general availability date of docHub and Acrobat Reader. In line with this policy, support for docHub 2017 Classic and Acrobat Reader 2017 Classic ends on June 06, 2022.

Can you upgrade docHub Pro 2017 to 2020?

If a new version of Acrobat perpetual were released, Acrobat 2020 customers could buy the upgrade license to upgrade to the latest version. The upgrade license allows customers to upgrade from only one version back. For example, Acrobat 2017 customers are eligible to purchase and upgrade their license to Acrobat 2020.

Is Acrobat 2017 no longer supported?
