To add a signature, select Add signature. In the dialog that appears, type, draw, or add an image of your signature and then select Done. To add your initials, select Add initials. In the dialog that appears, type, draw, or add an image of your initials and then select Done.
Initiate Signing: Locate the Sign or Security feature, initiating the signing process. Select Your Digital Signature: Choose the option to add a digital signature, and if you havent already, import your digital certificate. Place Your Signature: Drag your digital signature to the desired location on the PDF.
You need a scanner to do this. Write your signature on a piece of paper. Scan the page and save it on your computer in a common file format: .BMP, .GIF, .JPG, or .PNG. On the Insert tab, select Pictures Picture from File. Browse to the picture you want to insert, select it, and then select Insert.
How to add a signature to a PDF Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click on Fill Sign in the Tools panel on the right. Click Sign, and then select Add Signature. A popup will open Type, Draw, and Image. Select one and click Apply. Drag, resize and position the signature inside your PDF file.
Using a Copier Sign a blank sheet of copy paper. Use the copier in your department to scan the page. Make sure you set the file type to JPG. Save the file to a location where it will be easily accessible. Using an app of your choosing, crop the scanned image to remove excess white space.
Open the PDF document or form in Acrobat or Reader, and click Fill Sign in the right pane. Click the Sign icon in the Fill Sign toolbar, and then choose whether you want to add your signature or just initials. If you have already added signatures or initials, they are displayed as options to choose from.
Click on the Copy button next to the selected digital signature. Open the document(s) you want to apply the copied digital signature to. Click on the Digital Signature tool again. Select the Paste option from the drop-down menu.
