To make changes to a document, in the upper-right corner, select Edit Document Edit. If someone else created the document, they might not allow editing. You can go to File Save as, save it with another name, and edit the new document. Or you can ask the document owner to enable editing.

To make changes to a document, in the upper-right corner, select Edit Document Edit. If someone else created the document, they might not allow editing.
Edit text in a PDF Open the PDF you want to edit in Acrobat, and then select Edit in the global bar. The PDF switches to the edit mode, and the Edit panel displays. If the PDF is generated from a scanned document, Acrobat automatically runs OCR to make the text and images editable.
How to edit PDF files online Choose a PDF to edit by clicking the Select a file button above, or drag and drop a file into the drop zone. Once Acrobat uploads the file, sign in to add your comments. Use the toolbar to add text, sticky notes, highlights, drawings, and more.
