hello everyone my name is ian lamont im the author of excel basics in 30 minutes and today were going to be talking about how to save an image in your excel file thats in the form of a chart so here we have a chart in excel its a financial charts from a old homework assignment and i want to save it separately as an image file so i can email just the image file to somebody or put it on a website post it on facebook whatever and this is how you do it so you find the chart it doesnt really matter what version of excel youre using by the way but just find the chart and then click on it so the edges so the edge is visible and then right click right on the edge and youll see an option that says save as picture click that and it will give you an option to save it somewhere im just going to put it in my excel in 30 minutes file its down here and then save it there and basically what you do give it a name im going to just call it excel chart you can choose the different types of file
