here im going to show you how to import a model where the textures are separated files this is quite common when downloading assets from sketchfab so here ive grabbed a mario file asset from sketchfab and inside the zip has the source files and the textures so let me just extract it here so here you can see theres a source folder inside the source folder is another zip so let me extract it out again and inside this zip was a mario.obj file that contains the model and then inside the textures folder are a bunch of images that describe the texture so first well import the obj file into our scene very quickly youll see that it imported mario but this mario is got has no textures and so its just a blank gray first thing we do is we select the mesh that we want to assign the texture to so for example uh lets lets select the overalls of the mario in the inspector youll see that there is a material section if you click the plus sign we can add a image channel and if you click on the
