To pass the WCA, your physical and/or mental health condition needs to affect you 50% of the time. You will be assessed on whether you can carry out certain activities within a reasonable amount of time.
Each descriptor has a number of points. The more difficult you find that activity, the more points you might get. For example, for question 1 if you cant move more than: 50 metres without help, you can get 15 points.
You should take the following to your Universal Credit Work Capability Assessment: Any pills or medication you take. Any aids and appliances that you use. A copy of your Work Capability Assessment questionnaire. Any supporting evidence you have. A day-to-day diary of your life to highlight your condition.
The rest of the questionnaire is divided into two parts: Questions 1-10 are about your ability to carry out certain physical activities like mobilising, standing and sitting. Questions 11-17 are about mental and intellectual functions that you may need to carry out in your daily life.
Completing the questionnaire.
