From a recent graduate. Pros: Great party scene, great professors, great school spirit, cheap cost of living, cheaper than most big public schools, lots of on campus events, great for extroverts, great research opportunities, and, fun school over all with a valuable learning experience.
In the summer of 1961, Mrs. Lucille Sugar Graves became the first African American student to enroll at Texas Tech.
