Police vetting is an entirely online process, and vetting requests can only be submitted through the online agency portal. Refer to page three of the request and consent form guide above for information on preferred evidence of identity documents (ID).

How much does a Police vetting check cost? For New Zealand agencies, regulations set an initial fee of $8.50 + GST per vetting request to cover the actual and reasonable costs of a vetting request. Any change to the fee will need to be approved by Cabinet.
A New Zealand police vetting check will return your conviction history and report other non-convicted information that is deemed to be relevant based on a specified role, any applicable legislation, and consideration of the safety of children or vulnerable people with whom you will have contact in that role.
Copy of current Valid New Zealand Visa. One recently taken (within 6 months) passport size photograph pasted on the application. Do not staple/pin the photograph. Fee for PCC service is NZ $ 45.
