Stomp and Shake is a unique style of cheerleading characterized by rhythmic stomping, sharp body shakes, and powerful vocal chants.
The overall judges will be looking at standing/running tumbling, jumps/dance and overall impression. All three categories will be combined together for the total score with deductions being taken off the total score.
* Junior High Division Guidelines: Junior High teams may include 9th grade participants IF (1) the school represented includes a 9th grade class AND (2) a minority of the team are 9th graders. Junior High teams with a majority of 9th grade participants must compete as a Junior Varsity.
Traditionally, here is the breakdown: Tiny: Ages four through six. Mini: Ages five through eight. Youth: Ages five through 11. Junior: Ages five through 14. Senior: Ages 11 through 18 (Depending on the level. This minimum age is increasing next year)
