The federal uniform hazardous waste manifest consists of 6 white pages. The federal manifest does not include a generator copy for submission to the State Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). A generator must make a legible photocopy of the manifest and mail it to DTSC within 30 days of shipping the waste.
DTSC will update 22 CCR sections 66272.60-66272.69 in line with these requirements. Multiday: Per day penalties are applied for violations that go on for more than one day. The per day penalty is increased from 2% to 5% of the base penalty. A 20% per day penalty will apply to violators who fail to return to compliance.
