Any driver of a motor vehicle who has received a permit under Section 17.76. 050, and has it prominently displayed on the motor vehicle with their permanent disabled placard or disabled license plate or disabled veterans license plate, may park at a parking meter without activating the parking meter.
To park in an accessible space, you must have a valid Missouri State parking permit or a daily temporary Missouri State parking permit or pay the parking meter and a state issued placard or license plate. Motorcycles may not park in any blue striped areas by handicap parking spaces.
A handicap parking application must be filled out before an accessible parking placard can be obtained. To find this application, visit your states government website or your local DMV website. You can print and fill out the application or get an application from your local DMV.
