To be eligible for the USDA/1890 National Scholars Program scholarship, a student must: Be a U.S. citizen. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) Have a minimum of 21 ACT, 1080 SAT scores. Have been accepted for admission or currently attending one of the nineteen 1890 Land-Grant Universities.
The 1890 Scholars Program was established to provide scholarships and career pathways for students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) designated as 1890 Land-Grant Institutions.
The 1890 institutions include Delaware State University, Florida AM University, Fort Valley State University, Georgia, Kentucky State University, Langston University, Oklahoma, Lincoln University, Missouri, North Carolina AT State University, Prairie View AM University, Texas, South Carolina State University,
Applicants must be U.S. citizens currently attending an accredited college/university in the United States, completing their freshman or sophomore year of college, and willing to attending or currently attending one of the eighteen 1890 Universities.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (as well as either an ACT score of 21 or an SAT of 1080) and have been accepted for admission or currently attending one of the nineteen 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Universities.
