The mission of the Sunburst Youth Challenge program is to intervene in and reclaim the lives of at-risk youth to produce graduates with the values, skills, education and self-discipline necessary to succeed as adults and citizens in their community.

About the NGYCP. The NGYCP is a voluntary five-and-a-half-month residential program followed by a year-long mentorship. During the residential phase of the program, cadets are immersed in a military training environment, which emphasizes discipline, consistency and structure.
