What does it cost to join Sea Cadets? It depends on the unit, but all charges are very low and heavily subsidised. We are determined though that nobody should miss out because they cant afford it, and help is always available. There are charges for training courses and camps but these are kept to a minimum.
Costs vary by unit, but joining Sea Cadets typically costs around $400-600 in a cadets first year. These costs consists of the following: Annual enrollment fee ($99) One-time uniform fee ($200-400).
The Sea Cadet Corps (SCC) is a charity that provides activities for young people on the water. It is supported by the Royal Navy, which provides around half of its funding. The Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is a programme based in secondary schools programme combining one or more elements of each service.
A volunteer must possess good moral character, a sound mind, and be capable of credibly communicating our Sea Cadet core values to our cadets. Each adult must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident, free of felony convictions, and will undergo a background investigation during the enrollment process.
