Expiration of ECFMG Certificate If you are certified by ECFMG based on a Pathway, your ECFMG Certificate will expire when your Pathway expires, unless you revalidate a Pathway or meet the requirements to have your ECFMG Certificate become valid indefinitely (i.e., no longer subject to expiration).
Step1 and Step 2CK can be taken in any order. Score is valid for 7 years. The USMLE Step 1 is the first in the series of three USMLE exams that candidates must pass in order to qualify for medical licensure in the United States.
