Can civilians get a JST?

The Joint Service Transcript is a joint military service transcript showing ACE credit recommendations for the Army, Coast Guard, Navy, and Marines. For the Coast Guard, the JST is available for active duty, reserve, civilian, spouses of active duty, and Auxiliary members.

How do I get my military transcripts?

For the Army, Navy, Marines, or Coast Guard, submit a request on the Joint Services Transcript (JST) website. Submit an official transcript request on the JST website. For the Air Force or Space Force, submit a request on the Parchment website. Request a transcript on the Parchment website.

What is a service transcript?

The Official Service Transcript provides college admissions officers the opportunity to see more about you than just your grades and test scores. With the transcript universities will be able to see your community dedication and how your service impacted you through your reflection.

Who is eligible for a JST?

Military members in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard who are active duty, reserve duty or veterans are eligible for the JST. Air Force members should contact the Air University to order official transcripts through Parchment.

Do you need a transcript for the military?

While the military generally requires enlistees to have a high school diploma, in some cases, they may accept high school transcripts instead. However, this is handled on a case-by-case basis.

Is a JST an official military record?

More than 2,300 colleges and universities recognize these transcripts as official documentation of military training and experiences and applicable ACE credit recommendations. ACE recommendations, and the military training and occupation exhibits they are based upon, are catalogued in the ACE Military Guide.

Is there a fee to get a JST?

You also have unlimited transcript orders to schools that receive our transcripts online, but due to the costs associated with printing and mailing a hard copy, we limit the number to two (2) within a 30-day period. Best of all, the JST is 100% FREE to all service members!

Why cant I access Jst?

Your account will be locked after three unsuccessful login attempts or if the account has not been logged into within the last 30 days. If you are locked out due to unsuccessful login attempts send an email to jst@doded.mil and request to have your account unlocked.
