Please understand this. Dixie Youth baseball changed its name to Diamond, or DYB, whatever, but their softball program IS NOT DIXIE GIRLS SOFTBALL INC. Diamond began its own softball program and abandoned its long-time partner Dixie Girls Softball which is still playing and doing well.
Our name was changed from Dixie Youth Baseball to Diamond Youth Baseball in 2023. PURPOSE DIIAMOND YOUTH BASEBALL is a FUN program of baseball for pre-teen players with emphasis on FAIR PLAY, HONESTY, SPORTSMANSHIP, and PATRIOTISM.
Dixie Youth Baseball is now Diamond Youth Baseball, according to the national DYB newsletter, now called Diamond News. We are pleased to announce that DYB, Inc., formerly known as Dixie Youth Baseball, has completed a re-branding of our baseball program, the newsletter reads.
Since its inception, Dixie Youth Baseball has served as the premier community youth sports program in the Southeast. Tournaments. Every year, children ages 6-12 participate in tournaments to earn the title of State Champion. Champions from 11 states then go on to compete in the annual Dixie Youth Baseball World Series.
