The Access Pass may be issued to U.S. citizens or permanent residents of any age that have been medically determined to have a permanent disability (does not have to be a 100% disability) that severely limits one or more major life activities.
The program ensures that residents are not restricted from access or participation in a reasonable variety of recreation activities due to financial hardship. Residents are provided with a mechanism for accessing subsidies which incorporates confidentiality, dignity, privacy and easy access.
Complete a Bus Pass/LeisureCard application form at the Social Services office at 160 - 2nd Avenue South (306-933-5960). Take the completed application form to Saskatoon Transit, Customer Services Centre, 226 - 23rd Street East (in the Downtown Bus Terminal) to purchase a reduced price bus pass.
