How can I log in to the ESS Portal? In the browser's Address bar, enter your organization's URL. The greytHR Login page opens. In the Employee Number text box, enter your employee no. or email address. In the Password text box, enter your greytHR ESS account's password. Click Log In to log in to the greytHR ESS portal.
Open a new browser window and navigate to My Paycheck Page on NYC.gov. 2. Select Employee Self-Service (ESS) at the top of the page. This is your seven-digit City Employee ID # (Reference #) which can be found on your pay-stub.
NYCAPS ESS allows CUNY's Community College employees to view paystubs and tax information online.
Your User Name is your Human Resources Employee ID located at the top of your paystub. Your password includes the characters 'Ana-' followed by your birthday (MMDDYY) and the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN).
