What is the honored citizen fare on Trimet?
Honored Citizen is our reduced fare for seniors age 65+, people on Medicare, people with disabilities, people who qualify based on income, veterans and active-duty military. Welcome aboard! Honored Citizen riders pay half the price of an Adult 2-hour fare and less than one-third the price of an Adult 1-Month Pass.
Does TriMet accept cash?
You can pay with cash or coins when boarding a bus and when buying a ticket from a MAX ticket machine.
How do you pay for the TriMet in Portland?
To pay, tap the green Hop reader at the MAX/WES station or inside the bus every time you board. You can tap with your phone or contactless credit card to pay the $2.80 Adult fare. Or, tap with a Hop card, virtual Hop card or Hop ticket.
Can I pay bus fare by cash?
By Cash. If you are taking a public bus and wish to pay using cash, you are encouraged to pay the exact fare, as no change will be given. You should also keep the bus ticket as proof of payment.
How to pay for a Portland Max train?
