Absolutely you should take a reduced course load. Youll learn better, for one, if youre not running around between so many classes all the time.
What is a Reduced Course Load? With proper authorization, an RCL allows F-1 and M-1 students to drop below full-time enrollment without losing their student status. This is possible under specific conditions such as academic difficulties, medical issues or during a students final term.
Academic RCL is only approved for one term per degree level, is typically only granted in the first quarter of attendance, and requires enrollment in at least half the credits required for full-time. Students who have been granted Academic RCL remain eligible for future RCLs for medical reasons and/or the final term.
