Employers are obligated to make payments to the CNESST in order to ensure the safety of employees and their rights. Depending on their activities, employers must fulfill a variety of obligations such as source deductions from employees annual salaries, salary declarations, and remittance forms.
You may use the form entitled Application for Reimbursement of Expenses and submit it with vouchers. The form is available at any regional CNESST office, and on the CNESST website (cnesst.gouv.qc.ca). You should keep all originals of your receipts in order to be reimbursed.
The CNESST provides the income replacement indemnity to workers who are unable to work due to an employment injury. The income replacement indemnity is equal to 90% of a workers net income, and is paid every two weeks.
For classification purposes, temporary assignment is defined as the assignment of new duties within the same departmental unit to an incumbents position for a short duration to meet temporary organizational needs.
