The California Federation of Womens Clubs (CFWC) is a statewide non-profit service organization with 10,000 members. Clubs offer leadership and personal growth opportunities to members while enriching the lives of others through philanthropic service.
The California State Federation of Colored Womens Clubs Inc. (CSACWC), was a womans club formed in 1906 with the mission of serving the needs of Californias African-American women and children. California State Federation of Colored Womens Clubs meeting in Oakland, California in July 1915.
GFWC is comprised of nearly 2,300 local clubs. Each club elects officers and works independently on various projects in their community.
GFWC Director of Junior Clubs Shannon Bailey is honored to serve GFWC as Director of Junior Clubs. As Director, she represents all Juniors on the GFWC Executive Committee, leads and supports State Directors of Junior Clubs and all Junior club members, and is a member of the GFWC Strategic Planning Committee.
