Must be an Ohio resident. Must be an incoming freshman. Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.00 or higher. Must also maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher once admitted to the program.
Ohio offers the ONGSP (Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program) which pays 100% tuition to state schools. For private schools they pay a fixed amount and you cover the rest.
Must meet educational requirements Must possess a high school diploma or GED, but have no bachelors degree. Must be enrolled in one of the institutions on the Approved Schools List.. Must take a minimum of three semester hours (two quarter hours) in a term to expend Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program funds.
Subject to funding available from the Ohio General Assembly, the Ohio National Guard Scholarship program provides 100% tuition to Army and Air Guard members attending a two- or four- year public college or university for up to (12) full-time quarters or eight (8) full-time semesters.
