Can I do electrolysis and laser at the same time?

Electrolysis is considered a more permanent solution than laser hair removal (it stops hair growth completely while laser hair removal slows and reduces hair growth), but it requires more individual sessions (closer to 14), and the sessions can take longer.

Do I have to do laser before electrolysis?

If you have light skin and dark hair absolutely do laser before electrolysis. Electrolysis is far slower and more painful, ESPECIALLY on darker coarser hair. Thats why even if laser didnt completely eliminate it, it will be thinned so much that electrolysis will be much easier.

Should you do laser before electrolysis?

The more hair follicles, the more sessions youll need to remove them. In addition, most hair follicles will need to be targeted at least twice to have a permanent effect. Expect to go through around eight to twelve sessions for a permanent result. That may seem like a lot.

What is the difference between electrolysis and laser treatment?

Should I get laser hair removal before electrolysis? No. I know this stance puts me at odds with most of the transfeminine community. After all, it is common knowledge that, in order to remove a beard, you start with laser.

Can I get laser and electrolysis at the same time?

Yes, you can, as long as the operator only targets the grey hairs with electrolysis. I have even combined electrolysis and laser in the same session if the clients skin could handle it (typically later on in the process, because you have to dry shave on the spot which can be aggravating if hairs are still very coarse).

Does laser interfere with electrolysis?

Also, doing one procedure and then the other isnt a good idea. For example, getting electrolysis done after laser hair removal disrupts the effects of the first procedure.
