The WIC Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Programs (FMNP) provide locally grown unprepared fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs to nutritionally at-risk pregnant, -feeding, or post-partum women, children 2-5 years old as well as eligible seniors 60 years of age and older.
The 2025 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) helps provide low-income older adults access to locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey and herbs by providing eligible participants $50 coupons for use at participating farmers markets and roadside stands.
Your Farmers Market Card is only good with Authorized Farmers at Authorized Farmers Markets. Scan the QR code to the right or go .cdfa.ca.gov/ SeniorFarmersMrktNutritionPrgm and click List of Authorized Markets to Redeem SFMNP Benefits. Once at an authorized Market, look for farmers with a WIC/SFMNP sign.
The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is designed to: Provide low-income seniors with access to locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey and herbs. Increase the domestic consumption of agricultural commodities through farmers markets, roadside stands, and community supported agricultural programs.
Only farmers, farmers markets and/or roadside stands authorized by the State agency may accept and redeem FMNP coupons. Individuals who exclusively sell produce grown by someone else, such as wholesale distributors cannot be authorized to participate in the FMNP.
