Can FERPA schools release information?

Students may request an official transcript at any time by completing a Transcript Request Form and submitting it to our Business Office. Students can use their date of birth if student ID number is unknown. An official transcript costs $15 payable at the time the transcript is requested.

Should I do the FERPA release form?

If you dont waive the FERPA, colleges may be skeptical about the authenticity of your college recommendations. They might think that you helped your teachers write them, or that you pressured them into writing positive things. This will hurt your application and might even result in the school declining you.

Where is the FERPA release form?

The FERPA release authorization is found within the Recommenders and FERPA section of the my colleges tab, and the release authorization link must be checked with the FERPA decision. Students can only see the Recommenders and FERPA section once theyve added at least one school to their application.
