Servicemembers who may fall under the SCRAs protections, may lose those shields due to the servicemembers own misconduct.
Among other things, the SCRA allows for forbearance and reduced interest on certain obligations incurred prior to military service, and it restricts default judgments against servicemembers and rental evictions of servicemembers and all their dependents.
The SCRA includes shares, stocks, bonds, scrips, debentures, debenture stocks, or any other marketable security of a listed company.
The SCRA offers you protection for the purchase of real and personal property, including motor vehicles. If you enter into an installment contract and miss payments before or during Service, the seller cannot terminate the agreement or repossess your property without a court order.
