Becoming a lifeguard requires passing an intense certification test, but with the right preparation and dedication, you can achieve your goal of becoming a lifeguard.
Expect questions about your certifications, swimming abilities, and how youd handle emergency situations. Theyll likely ask about your CPR and first aid skills, your ability to spot potential dangers, and your experience working with the public.
Overall the lifeguard course is not designed to be hard. In general, there is two separate lifeguard course. One requires you to swim 300 yards continuously while the other is for shallow water pools with depths of 5 feet or less, and the individual needs only to swim 50 yards continuously.
