What is the difference between FLR M and FLR FP? While FLR M relates to marriage, partners and dependent children, FLR FP is for Further Leave to Remain, in the 'F and P' categories, ie based on the Family Life under the Appendix FM or Private Life under the Part 7.
FLR (M) applications are usually the 5 year route to settlement. Applicants on the 10 year route who are applying for Further Leave to Remain on the basis of family life will need to use form FLR (FP), as will Applicants applying under other categories.
You must usually have lived and worked in the UK for 5 years. If you have a tier 1 visa, it can be 2 or 3 years. If you have an Innovator or Global Talent visa, it can be 3 years. You may also need to meet the salary or financial requirements - this depends on your visa.
What Documents do I need for FLR M? Valid passport; Proof that your relationship is genuine/you remain in a genuine relationship; Evidence of meeting the financial requirement; Proof of meeting the English language requirement; Adequate accommodation.
The SET (O) form is for individuals eligible for indefinite leave to remain (ILR) who are currently in the UK under one of a number of specified immigration routes. With ILR, an individual gains the right to live, work and study in the UK free from immigration restrictions for an unlimited period of time.
