At Relay For Life events, teams camp out at a local school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. All team members are asked to raise a minimum of $100 each, and, because cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event.
At Relay, we walk so those living with cancer and those remembering the ones theyve lost never have to walk alone. We fundraise so those working tirelessly to improve cancer outcomes can continue to make the future bright.
Its an opportunity for us to remember loved ones lost and honor survivors of all cancers. Traditionally, Relay events last anywhere from six to 24 hours with teams of survivors, caregivers and supporters taking turns walking around a track or designated path.
